Return & Exchange Policy

We want to ensure you’re pleased with your purchase at Ruach we do have a convenient return and exchange policy that would benefit you.

Courier your return item(s) to

STEP 3

Once we receive the item(s) we will approve your exchange after inspections – items have to be an original purchase, in original condition and with the tags on.

STEP 4

Once approved we will get in touch with you regarding your exchange item and dispatch it. Delivery charges will apply.

OR

You can simply exchange your item(s) at our flagship store located at L5 -25 One Galle Face Mall, Colombo.

General Rules

  • Exchanges are strictly done within 10 days after purchasing online or at the store.If purchased at the store, the exchange item has to be accompanied strictly with the original receipt/bill of purchase.
  • All items should be new, unused, and with all Ruach brand/price tags attached on the item. Items that are damaged, unhygienic, soiled or altered may not be accepted and your exchange will be rejected. 
  • The purchased item(s) are the customer’s responsibility until they reach the Ruach headquarters for inspection. All item(s) must be packed and sealed for exchange to avoid damage and tampering.
  • All exchanges will take a period of 14 days in order to accommodate the courier return time, inspection time, product processing and courier delivery time. Your patience is highly appreciated.
  • In the unlikely event if the item(s) received is in an unsuitable condition, we may have to return it back to you. In this case, you will not be entitled for an exchange and you will have to bear the courier charges for the return. 
  • Purchases made at the Physical Store CANNOT be exchanged online.
  • Purchases made online CAN be exchanged at the Physical Store. However, customers need to e-mail or Whatsapp us the details and notify ahead of time in order for the physical store to proceed with the exchange or refund (in the case of defected items).  
  • We are flexible in exchanging item(s) for a different size, or an alternative product(s), subject to availability of stock.
  • We do not offer cash refunds or store credit notes.
  • Bodysuits and Hair Accessories cannot be exchanged under any circumstances due to hygiene reasons. 
  • Sale/discounted item(s) purchased online or in store cannot be exchanged under any circumstances.
  • Please note that the final decision for exchange request is at the sole discretion of the Ruach Management. 

Damaged or Defected Items 

In the very rare occurrence that you receive a defected product by shopping online or at our store we have a return policy.

  • In order to replace a damaged item a request should be made within 3 days via mail to info@ruachofficial.com or get in touch with us on Whatsapp +94 77 654 7825.
  • Please note that all Damages and Defected items should be claimed only if you think that the defect is due to a production quality issue and not a damage that occurred during wearing of the garment or hair accessory. 
  • Customers can also opt for a full refund for the value of the defected item if they do not wish to receive another item in exchange for the defected item. 
  • Please note that full refunds will be made as a direct fund transfer to your bank account since no cash refunds or credit notes can be issued from the store.
  • Courier fee will be free of charge for the defected product.
  • Please note the Ruach management retains all rights to reject or deny refund request if we feel that the defect/damage is not a genuine case. The final decision is at the sole discretion of the management and is non-negotiable.
